Jesús Zuleta

Spanish Language Teacher

MA Education; BA Primary & Secondary Education; BA English Language for Primary and Secondary; Introductory to Anthroposophy and Waldorf Pedagogy Intensive; Diploma in Theatre and Artistic Creation; Certificate Emotional Recognition Method: Alba Emoting

Jesús is a passionate language and performing arts teacher with over 10 years of experience teaching English, Spanish, and drama to students of all ages. Originally from Chile, Jesús holds a Master of Education (Monash University, Australia) and a Trinity CertTESOL, and has worked in diverse educational environments, including universities, language schools, and community programmes.

In addition to his extensive experience in language teaching, Jesús is a trained performer and has worked as an actor and dancer in various productions. His artistic background allows him to bring creativity and dynamic energy to his lessons, particularly in his teaching of Spanish and drama.

Jesús studied Rudolf Steiner’s Anthroposophy in Argentina, where he developed an understanding of education as a process that should support the human development of the child through creativity, models that inspire health, and an awareness of the earth and respectful coexistence with others. He believes that teaching goes beyond academics; it must nurture the development of the whole child, inspiring them to explore the world, and approach their personal growth with spiritual cultivation through movement, music, song, play, and meditation.

In his work as an actor, Jesús has also developed a keen interest in emotional recognition and self-regulation, and he teaches fellow educators to manage their energy and emotions effectively to become role models who inspire their students to grow and learn.

Jesús is excited to bring his knowledge of language learning, theatre, and cultural exchange to the Dublin Waldorf School community. Outside the classroom, he enjoys engaging with nature, exploring different cultures, and sharing his love for the arts with others.
